The objects disappeared over the horizon after about fifteen minutes.
They were estimated to have a diameter of about 300 ft . |

Flight AA88
| | Passengers on American Airlines flight 88 en route from Chicago O\'Hare to Brussels,
Belgium were shocked to see a creature hovering over an engine on the right wing
of the aircraft. An unidentified passenger managed to take this exclusive picture.
The incident happened as the airplane was close to the coast of Ireland.
The creature disappeared after a few minutes, leaving passengers and crew shocked.
The plane made an unscheduled landing at Shannon airport.
This is the first sighting of a Martian invader outside the U.S.A. |

Baffled Botanists
| | Botanists at the St.Louis Botanical Gardens are baffled by this plant brought
in by a local resident, who found it growing at the foot of the Arch, where
alleged Martian scouts were observed.The plant bit the man's finger as he pulled
it out, and the unfortunate person is now in an isolation at a local hospital.
Doctors are worried about extraterrestial diseases. |

The Martians speak!
| | At exactly 6 PM EST, on every TV set in the greater Washington D.C. area
an image came on of a face that looked like Darth Vader's ugly brother.
The creature (was it a Martian?) talked for approximately 4 minutes in an
incomprehensible language that was later identified as the Antwerp, Belgium
dialect of Flemish. (we picked up that people in Antwerp think everybody
understands them, so maybe the Martians thought this was true...) |
